The program is aimed at training research and development engineers who can design, develop, and manage complex secure information systems. Winners and runners-up of the following may be admitted without entrance examinations:

— All-Russian School Olympiads in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics; members of the Russian national team that participated in international Olympiads in Mathematics or Computer Science and was formed in accordance with the procedure established by the federal executive body responsible for the development and implementation of state policy and legal regulation in the field of general education;

— The 2026 International Competition of Scientific and Technological Projects "Big Challenges" in the following areas: "Space Technologies," "Transport and Logistics Systems, Marine, Aviation, and Unmanned Technologies," "Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Automated Systems, and Information Security," "Advanced Manufacturing Technologies," and "Nature-Inspired and Neurotechnologies."

— The 2025 All-Russian Competition of Scientific and Technological Projects "Big Challenges" in the following areas: "Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Automated Systems, and Security," "Unmanned and Logistics Systems," "Space Technologies," "Advanced Manufacturing Technologies," and "Nature-Inspired and Neurotechnologies."

Winners or runners-up of the final round of the All-Russian Schoolchildren's Astronomy Olympiad may receive 100 points for the written exam.

According to Part 10.1 of Article 21 Federal Law of July 29, 2017 No. 216-ФЗ "On Innovative Scientific and Technological Centers and on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation" Students of the Sirius University of Science and Technology have all the rights granted to organizations that have received the appropriate licenses and state accreditation to carry out educational activities in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, students of such organizations. Documents on education and (or) qualifications issued by the University give their holders rights similar to the rights provided for holders of documents on education and (or) qualifications established in accordance with Federal Law No. 273-ФЗ of December 29, 2012 "On Education in the Russian Federation" sample.
